Circle of Excellence Award
New for 2025, Univera Healthcare is pleased to launch the Circle of Excellence Award! This award will showcase ACQA groups that have demonstrated excellent clinical quality outcomes through quality measure performance reporting.
The award recognizes ongoing hard work and dedication to providing superior quality care to our members. Gold, silver, and bronze awards will be presented based on calendar-year core quality measure performance at the ACQA level within each line of business – Commercial and Medicare.
Core quality measures
- Glycemic status for patients with diabetes
- Eye exams for patients with diabetes
- Controlling high blood pressure
- Breast cancer screening
- Colorectal cancer screening
- Statin therapy in patients with cardiovascular disease
Performance criteria
ACQA groups must meet the following first-level performance criteria for the line of business to be eligible for the award

Gold, silver and bronze award winners will be determined based on overall core measure performance rates for the line of business.
Award Winners
Annual award winners will be announced at the VBP Quality Summit beginning in 2026; up to six awards will be presented. Winners will receive a plaque (or similar award), press release, and announcement on social media.
